Raymond Omollo has served as the Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Interior and National Administration since 2022.
In the past three years, Omollo has stood out as one of the most influential figures in security and governance, being tasked with overseeing some key transformations within the security sector.
With a reputation for calm, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making, he has played a central role in coordinating national security operations and strengthening administrative structures across the country.
Omollo has focused on enhancing collaboration between national and county security organs, ensuring faster response to emerging threats such as banditry, organised crime, and natural disasters.
Earlier this year, the PS worked very closely with the Ministry of Sports to ensure the African Nations Championship (CHAN) hosted in collaboration with Uganda and Tanzania in August was a success.
One of Omollo’s notable achievements is his leadership in implementing reforms within the provincial administration and the National Government Administration Officers (NGAO).
